Brad Pitt is 'Strict' With Kids, Says Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt is "strict" with his six children, according to his partner, Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt's strict approach to discipline comes after years of Jolie taking the lead, the actress, said. Jolie told The Inquisitr that the birth of their twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, made Pitt more of a disciplinarian.

"I used to be the tougher parent but since the birth of the twins, Brad's had to play bad cop more often," Jolie told the publication. "It also depends on which one of the children we are talking about."

Of the six Jolie-Pitt children- Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne- Jolie revealed that her partner has the closest bond with Maddox, who they affectionately call Mad.

"Brad has always had this incredible bond with Mad," divulged the actress. "[He's] very smart, and Brad loves teaching him about history and art and culture- it's an amazing thing to watch them together."

Jolie also told The Inquisitr that her closest bond was with the girls in the family. Zahara was adopted from Ethiopia, while Shiloh and Vivienne she had in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

"I think I'm a little closer to the girls, maybe, but [Brad's] always making them laugh. The children are usually very well-behaved though," said Jolie.

No matter who has the closer bond, Jolie says their big family comes together for bedtime.

"Our happiest moments are probably in the evening before the kids go to bed," revealed Jolie. "We often play together in our pajamas after dinner and it's like having a party sometimes where we're all dancing and jumping around and being silly. That's when you really feel the beauty of having a family. It's our little world."

Jolie, 36, and Pitt 48, have six children altogether, and some have speculated that they may have more in the future.
