Cristiano Ronaldo has picked up an injury ahead of the game and will miss out, which will disappoint thousands of fans across the globe, who had hoped to see the flair Real Madrid player take on the Samba players from Brazil.

However, there are still more than enough flair players on the field for tonight's game that it should be an amazingly exciting encounter between the two great footballing nations.

Portugal limped to a win over Northern Ireland on Friday. They started badly but finished strong and claimed the three points to further improve their World Cup qualification hopes.

Tuesday's game against Brazil is not about qualification game though, and the two teams will meet in the United States for a friendly.

Neymar will be available for Brazil, which should help attract fans with the star power, although Luiz Felipe Scolari will be missing defender Dani Alves and striker Hulk.

The last time these two countries met was in 2007 when late goals from Simao and Ricardo Carvalho led Portugal to a 2-0 win.

Brazil vs Portugal kicks off at 9 p.m. ET from the Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts and can be watched on TV on BT Sport 1 (Canada), or watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
