The trailer to the second part of "Breaking Dawn" has been released to much anticipation following the star couple's infamous split.
The "Breaking Dawn" trailer may be the last time that "Twilight" fans are able to watch the romance between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart unfold. Rumors have spread that Stewart is moving on, with other actors pursuing her. Pattinson seems unready to forgive.
Given the circumstance, the trailer is almost ironic.
"I have the bad habit of underestimating you," Pattinson tells Stewart in the first clip of the trailer.
"I thought we would be safe forever, but forever isn't as long as I had hoped," Stewart says in her first line.
The continued off-screen romance between Pattinson and Stewart seemed much like a real life fairytale to many. With that said, watching the final part to the "Twilight" sage may be bittersweet ending for many fans.
In addition to showing clips of the once happy couple, the trailer also reveals the couple's daughter, Renesmee, who will be played by 11-year-old Mackenzie Foy. The actress who would play Renesmee was first debuted in June, but the trailer offers the first look of Foy in character.
It will be strange, of course, to watch Taylor Lautner go crazy over an 11-year-old girl since according to the storyline, he has "imprinted" on her and already believes that she is the love of his life.
Altogether the "Twilight" movies have been a huge success in the box office and it is expected that the last film will do equally as well. The first four have grossed in over $1 billion thus far. Will the broken romance between Stewart and Pattinson hurt or help the box office? Only time will tell.
The movie will debut on Nov. 16.
