Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea Release Campy '80s-Themed 'Pretty Girls' Music Video

Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea have debuted a new collaboration featuring an '80s-inspired music video.

"Pretty Girls," a new music video by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea, has hit the airwaves with a campy representation of eighties' pop culture.

The Princess of Pop and the Princess of Hip-Hop don colorful outfits and hair and make-up trends of the decade, mixing girl power with extraterrestrial representation.

Azalea, who takes on the role of an alien from an aquatic universe displays otherworldly abilities to turn water pink, hack ATM machines and cause money to rain down, and updating a clunky early phone model into a modern smartphone.

The music video opens with Spears lounging by the side of a pool when Azalea's alien character falls from the sky. While playfully singing the lyrics, Spears gives Azalea a make-over, complete with crimped hair and a California accent.

In a scene at a club, Spears brings back her midriff for throwback dance sequences as a nod to her early work as an artist.

Azalea earlier told MTV in March "Pretty Girls," will be featured on Spears' upcoming album, details of which are yet to be announced.

Inspired by the popular eighties comedy "Earth Girls Are Easy," the music video was co-directed by Azalea and Cameron Dubby, and will serve as an introduction to the duo's first live performance of the song at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday.

Spears is said to be working on her first LP to follow 2013's Britney Jean, while currently headlining "Britney: Piece of Me" in Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood where she recently renewed her contract for two more years.

The "Womanizer" singer is also set to sing Suzanne Vega's popular 1987 hit, "Tom's Diner" on disco icon, Giorgio Moroder's first album in three decades.
