Jennifer Lopez and soon to be ex-husband Marc Anthony were spotted together riding in the backseat of a red convertible near Sagg Main Beach in Southampton, New York according to TMZ.

The media outlet photographed the sighting and released the pictures on the internet this week.

According to a rep for Marc Anthony, the singer was in town to visit his children. Anthony has three other children aside from the two he had with Lopez, with one being out of wedlock and the other two with his first wife Dayanara Torres.

It is not clear which children Anthony was visiting at the time.

Anthony has been reported in the tabloids recently for contacting his ex in hopes of reconciling.

An insider spoke to publication “Us” recently regarding the situation.

“His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life,” an insider told “Us.”

While revealing some of the details of their impending divorce, Anthony was “being difficult on every little point…He wants to prolong things so she reconsiders.”

News of the marriage problems came as a shock and disappointment to many. Jennifer Lopez expressed her happiness over her life with Marc Anthony and their kids as recently as January on an appearance on 'Ellen,' a talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres.

"As soon as I had the babies, I thought to myself, I want to do this a thousand more times...I love this, this is life," said Lopez on the show.

The couple wed in 2004 and renewed their vows in 2008 and then again in 2010.

Jennifer Lopez just signed on for another season as a judge on ‘American Idol’ on Wednesday.

The former couple’s two children are three-year-old twins named Max and Emme.
