Carmelo Anthony NBA Trade Rumors: Carmelo Won't Leave New York Knicks?

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has been the talk of the town for weeks now. His name has been linked to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics, but so far no deal has materialized. There is still a chance that he will be moved before the trade deadline next week; however, Anthony seems quite certain that he'll still be wearing a Knicks uniform when the deadline passes.

Before the Knicks' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, Anthony reminded everyone that he has final say on whether he leaves New York thanks to his no-trade clause, and he said he's not going anywhere.

Despite saying that he's staying with the team beyond the deadline, Anthony left the door open for a possible trade by saying anything could still happen.

"You don't know what can happen. I've seen a lot of things happen in this league over the years. I don't know what's going to happen or what can happen. Obviously we know what can happen over the next week or two. But I guess we'll see when that time comes," he told Newsday.

He also revealed that the front office still hasn't informed him about a potential deal. "Like I told you all before, nothing came to me, nothing came to my table for me to look at. Until that time comes then they don't need for me to even talk about the trade clause," he said in the same interview with Newsday.

With the trade deadline just a week away, the Cavs, Clippers, and Celtics remain the three teams with the best chances of acquiring Anthony.

Meanwhile, Anthony has been named to replace Kevin Love in the All-Star game after the Cavs forward was ruled out of the event with a knee injury. This will be his 10th All-Star selection. Interestingly, the Knicks have been trying to convince the Cavs to send them Love in exchange for Anthony, but the Cavs have turned down the trade offer.
