'Castle' Season 8 News, Spoilers: Castle and Beckett Work With A 'Crime-Sniffing' Witness
It gets even more interesting as the eighth season of ABC's hit police-procedural drama TV series "Castle" moves on this week with an episode that will see the partners, Rick Castle and Beckett, working with a very unlikely witness of a theft crime. Meanwhile, the rift between the couple becomes even more intense.
The spoiler report provided over at TVOvermind.com, speaks about a "priceless work of art" getting stolen. Making the case worse is that the person responsible for the safety transport of the painting got killed in the process.
Thankfully, the synopsis said, there is a witness who Castle and Beckett believe can help bring light to the case. However, an interesting aspect of the witness might prompt the working couple, at least on the side of Beckett, to think twice of her credibility. As revealed by the media outlet, the witness (played by guest star Stephnie Weir) claims to have an exceptional sense of smell which she believes will enable her to "sniff out" the killer.

Followers of the show might already suspect that this eccentricity will work out fine with Rick. The novelist is indeed quite open-minded and would often resort to taking on ideas spawn "out of the box" when it comes to solving crimes. So fans should expect Rick to ride along this whole "crime-sniffing" game.
Teasing further the events of the upcoming episode, a sneak peek shared over at the website shows the self-proclaimed sniffer woman smelling the newly-appointed precinct captain. He tells Castle that apparently, "she's clearly got the hots for you!" which consequently makes the man quite a bit happy knowing that he still has the chance to have his wife back.
But it appears it won't be happening soon as the clip also revealed that Kate is now ready to move out of Rick's place.
"I'm just hoping I could stop by the loft later on 'cause I need to pick up the rest of my stuff," she told Rick.
"Castle" Season 8 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
