Chevrolet Camaro 2016 release update: launch date yet to be announced

Who's excited to take the latest Chevrolet Camaro for a spin? Fans who are looking forward to drive the model around will have to wait a little bit longer as General Motors is yet to come up with an official confirmation regarding the release date of the upcoming muscle car.

According to Auto Guide, the 2016 Camaro will be available in dealerships in late 2015. This car is expected to challenge the Ford Mustang in the muscle car sale race. Both cars went through some major changes in their designs. To excite the fans furthermore, the Camaro was put in display during Detroit's annual Woodward Dream Cruise where onlookers mobbed the hot and sleek car, trying to get a closer look at the new redesigned muscle car from GM.

The vehicle is said to be better in every way than the previous generation. Fans can expect a sleeker body, different platform, new engines and new interior and exterior details. The Gen Six Camaro provides the driver with a faster, more adept driving experience because of the car's lighter architecture design. It also has a broader powertrain range. The car also has a dramatic exterior although it is slightly smaller. Experts believe that GM leaned toward a smaller, friendlier and economical version of the fifth-generation Camaro.
