'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Episode 15 Spoilers: Firehouse 51 Takes On Trickiest Case Yet

A massive fire will test the mettle of all the members of Firehouse 51 in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."

Spoilers report that a major crossover among the "Chicago" shows is taking place this March. In the episode titled "Deathtrap," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that the city will witness a terrible tragedy when fire consumes a factory, trapping many workers inside. Because the plant is old and ill-equipped, the incident quickly escalated into a firestorm. All the firefighters in the city were called to respond as quickly as possible. Later on, it will be revealed that a family member of the Intelligence Unit of "Chicago P.D." is one of the trapped victims inside.

In the promo, Voight (Jason Beghe) is shown approaching Boden (Eamonn Walker). Both look exhausted. In the hospital, the doctors and nurses are swamped with patients in need of immediate medical attention. Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) is shown leading a handful of nurses as he goes around checking the burn victims. When the fire is contained and the investigation is underway, the building owner will have no problem cooperating with the police. It will soon be revealed, though, that there is more to the incident than meets the eye.

Last episode, Boden won his battle against Anderson (guest star Michael Hanrahan), who suddenly decided to separate the Firehouse 51 team. The members got sent to different stations across the city. It was Anderson's way of punishing Boden for bypassing him in the last case they handled. Fortunately for Boden, the gods were smiling at him. One of the people his team saved from a burning hotel was the city mayor. Boden used his clout and requested that his team be reunited once again. Suffice to say, Anderson was not pleased. Viewers can expect more skirmishes between the two chiefs in the future.

"Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 15 will air March 1, Tuesday, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
