Chloe Moretz Death Hoax: Actress Responds

This past weekend actress Chloe Moretz was the victim of yet another celebrity death hoax. The actress recently responded to the false reports.

Over the weekend, The Global Associated News published a report stating that the "Kick A--" star had died while snowboarding in Switzerland. Though Moretz was in Switzerland at the time, she was not snowboarding and she was certainly not dead. The young actress took to her Twitter account to combat the news. She expressed more than a little anger at those who made up and perpetuated the false rumors of her death.

"I don't know who made this up but you're disgusting. I am not dead. I did not die from snowboarding. It isn't even snowing here in Switzerland," Moretz tweeted.

While the hoax did get Moretz's location correct, Switzerland, it seems that's all they got right. Moretz is clearly alive and well, and, further disproving the report, it seems very difficult to have a snowboarding accident without snow.

Chloe Moretz also tweeted about the ramifications she had to deal with since the false news of her death was published.

"I've had my loved ones calling crying to check and see if I'm alive. Don't make this up. It's not real. I am fully alive and here. You're sick," the actress tweeted.

The young starlet is not the first victim of a death hoax perpetuated by The Global Associated News. The site has previously claimed, rather uncreatively, that Adam Sandler had died in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.

They have also perpetuated fake death rumors for Eddie Murphy, Owen Wilson, and Denzel Washington, among others.
