Chris Brown, Rihanna and Drake News: Brown Says Singer Dated Drake to Get Back at Him
Recently, Chris Brown raised some eyebrows when he said that he thinks Rihanna started dating Drake to get back at him.
In an interview with Hot 97 on October 31, Brown said, "She's gonna be mad if I say it, but in a way, I do think Rihanna dated Drake to get back at me."
"Yeah, a little bit. It's understandable. It's the game. We're young. Relationships … we do that at that age," he added.

A source close to Rihanna said to Hollywood Life that perhaps there is some truth to Brown's statement.
"She would never say that [she dated Drake to annoy Chris], and it's probably a little bit of both," said the insider. "He was much more of a man than Chris and he talked to her and treated her like she was the only one who mattered. She would have been crazy not to see what he was about."
"She knew Chris and Drake at the time weren't cool most of the time, so she knew what she was doing and didn't care," the source said.
Meanwhile, Brown and his longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran have been going strong, but Brown admitted that he and Rihanna still talk.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brown said that he and Rihanna were friends. "We're friends. Nothing too serious … We're not trying to start a life together right now, we're just having fun," said Brown.
He also admitted that his song titled "Drunk Texting" was about his ex.
"But as far as me writing and going into that, I don't really try to put my focus on Rihanna every song. At the end of the day it's almost six, seven years later," he added.
In the same interview with Hot 97, Brown said that he has made amends with Drake and that they have worked together. He also mentioned that he was happy with Tran and sees himself marrying her and having kids.
