Christian Academy Child Care Center Car Crash in Kansas City; At Least 3 Children Injured (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

A car has crashed into a Christian daycare center in Kansas City, according to breaking reports on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities have confirmed that "some children" have been injured in the incident that took place at the Christian Academy Child Care in Kansas City, Missouri.

No details about the exact number of children who were hurt, or any details of their injuries were initially made officially available by authorities, but according to local station KMBC, at least three children and one adult are among those injured.

The crash took place at 3600 block of East 27th Street, and according to KMBC, took place after two vehicles collided, sending one of the vehicles crashing through the front of the daycare.

According to Kansas City police Sgt. Marisa Barnes, police received emergency calls reporting the crash at 12.56 p.m. local time (1.56 p.m. ET).

The car that crashed into the daycare is reported to be an SUV, and the condition of the driver and any passengers was also not made available in the aftermath of the incident.
