Christina Aguilera Weight Loss? Star Drops Pounds Before Returning to 'The Voice' (VIDEO)

Before returning for her "Voice" debut, Christina Aguilera might just be debuting a new look.

After receiving criticism last year while working as a judge on "The Voice," it appears that Christina Aguilera is considering changing her look. The "I Am Beautiful" singer recently posted a new picture of herself on Facebook. The picture was taken while Aguilera was filming her next music video.

"On set shooting music video with Alejandro Fernández for #HoyTengoGanasDeTi," she wrote in the caption while adding the photo to her Facebook wall.

Those who follow the star on Facebook immediately suggested that the star looked much thinner.

"How she lose this much weight ? WOW," one user said in response to the photo. Others complimented Aguilera on how beautiful she looked.

Sources suggested on Tuesday that Aguilera would be returning to "The Voice" after taking a year hiatus to promote her new album, "The Lotus." She was replaced this season by Shakira, but according to Entertainment Weekly, hopes to get her judge's chair back now that her album has been released.

A source confirmed to EW that Aguilera was in the process of signing a $12 million contract with show producers that would secure her as a judge for the next season of "The Voice." But will viewers welcome Aguilera back to the show?

"That's too bad because Shakira has been great!" one fan suggested on the EW blog. Another said that ratings were "going to plummet when Christina returns." But other fans believe that Aguilera could save the show from ratings that were already dropping.

"Actually ratings already plummeted this season. The first live shows of The Voice hit lows! IN fact the voice went below a 3.0, that never happened with Xtina," one supported said.

NBC has suffered in ratings this year across the board, prompting it to cut a slew of shows.
