Christopher Dorner LAPD Release: Cop Killer Left Message for Tim Tebow

Christopher Jordan Dorner, on a vengeance-killing spree against his former police colleagues, left online messages for celebrities that include Jets player Tim Tebow.

Police have launched a state wide man hunt for Dorner, who they believe is behind two killings that occurred over the weekend and the shooting of three police officers today, one who suffered from fatal injuries. Before beginning the spree Dorner left an online manifesto linked to his Facebook page, laying out plans of those he intended to kill while also addressing certain celebrities and implying that he would eventually take his own life.

In the manifesto, Dorner, a former LAPD officer, stated that his motive for killing other officers was fueled by growing racist view points within the force.

"The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days. It has gotten worse," Dorney writes in the manifesto, which was published on Monday. He also alludes to a 2007 case where he charged a fellow officer with using excessive force on a suspect. His claim was investigated and inevitably resulted in Dorner being fired on the basis of making "false claims."

Dorner also left behind messages for celebrities for which he appeared to hold a special respect, implying that he was anticipating his own death.

"Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense again and the game. You are not a good QB by todays standards, but you are a great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN," he said in a one paragraph directed to the Jets player. "You will be 'Tebowing' when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that circus they call the Jets and away from the reality TV star, Rex Ryan, and Mark Rapist Sanchez."

Other messages were also directed to celebrities that include Ellen DeGeneres and Charlie Sheen.
