This also happens to be their final meeting in the regular season and if the two teams meet again anytime soon, it will be in the NBA Finals of the coming year – so the drama and anticipation here is high.

As expected, both squads are leading their respective divisions as the Cavaliers are ruling the Central Division in the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors are way ahead in the Pacific Division in the West and still have the best overall record in the entire league.

The two teams already met earlier in the season, with the Warriors winning 89-84 at the ORACLE Arena.

Golden State started off the usual way, pouring in the points to build a 28-19 lead at the end of the first quarter.

However, the Cavaliers cut the lead down to three by halftime and soon it was a close game where the two teams battled for every point.

In the end, the Warriors prevailed and Draymond Green had a stellar game with 22 points and 15 rebounds while dishing out seven assists.

On the other hand, LeBron James had 25 points and nine rebounds as they fell short in the match-up.

Kyrie Irving played in that game but saw limited minutes as he was fresh from his recovery from injuries. This time, he is expected to play a bigger part in the game which adds to the excitement.
