The game was close in the first quarter and the Cavs only had a five-point lead after the first 12 minutes that gave the Raptors some hope.

Unfortunately for Toronto, the second quarter turned into a route as the Cavs maintained their hot start to the game while the Raptors cooled down and only scored 16 as compared to Cleveland's 33.

From then on the Cavaliers kept their composure and kept the Raptors at bay as they methodically broke them down and prevented the Canadian club to mount any serious comebacks.

It was a stellar game for Kyrie Irving and LeBron James, as the point guard led the team with 27 points as he shot 11-of-17 from the field.

As for James, he had 24 points, six rebounds and four assists while shooting at an incredible 11-of-13 from the field.

No one could stop James and he operated from all areas of the floor to thoroughly dismantle the Raptors.

As for Toronto, DeMar DeRozan was the high point man with 18 points while Kyle Lowry struggled with only eight points on 4-of-14 shooting.

In order to bounce back in the game, and possibly the series, the Raptors should find a way to get Lowry consistently going.

He has proven to be a threat as shown in their Game 7 battle against the Miami Heat and Lowry should assert himself against the Cavaliers.

DeMarre Carroll should also try and figure out a way to challenge James and teammates should always be aware of the mismatch James has and always be ready for the double team.

On the other hand, the Cavaliers have not lost so far in the playoffs so there is nothing essentially wrong with what they are doing.

What they should continue is to follow James' lead and always be ready to catch the ball and shoot when they are given the chance.
