'Code Vein' News: Gameplay Video Offers Early Look at a Challenging Boss Fight

Boss fight previewed is with an enemy known as the Queen's Knight

"Code Vein" will not shy away from throwing challenges at players, particularly when it is time for them to take on bosses.

Recently, developers gave fans in attendance at the Tokyo Game Show an idea of what they can expect from the upcoming action role-playing game's boss fights.

Director Hiroshi Yoshimura took on the challenging demo of the game, DualShockers reported, and as viewers can see in the video below, even this individual with plenty of knowledge of the title struggled mightily.

The boss fight started at around the 36-minute mark of the video and the enemy was identified as the Queen's Knight.

The Queen's Knight seemed to be an intimidating figure and it looked even more formidable as it held a spiky sword and a sturdy shield in its hands.

Intimidating as the Queen's Knight was, it was even more dangerous once the battle got started and may even get the jump on players if they are not prepared.

Just going by what was shown in the video, the Queen's Knight had some attacks that prospective "Code Vein" players will need to watch out for. One of these was a lunging attack that seemed like it will be very difficult to evade. The Queen's Knight also remained deadly within close quarters as it could unleash a combo.

In the video, the Queen's Knight was also shown unleashing an attack that led to crimson flames emerging from the ground.

Players are going to have to figure out how to work around the attacks of the Queen's Knight and they will also have a partner present who will be able to help them out.

Interestingly enough, it also looks like the players can be revived by their partners and vice versa and that may be something that can help during boss fights.

Action RPG fans will be able to take on the challenges presented by "Code Vein's" bosses as soon as the game is released sometime next year.
