The brand new season of the show will once again see Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and others. New cast members are also headed for the show. IGN reported "Criminal Minds" star Paget Brewster as Francesca "Frankie" Dart and Keith David as Elroy Patashnik.

Series creator Dan Harmon also spoke about writing the new season of the show to which he implied that this won't be the last for him.

"I'm definitely not writing it as if it's the end," said Harmon. "That's not happening. Then moving on to why am I not doing that, do I think this is my final season or the show's final season, those are all very philosophical things for me. I'm very naive about how the business actually works."

The show's recognizable faces also shared their excitement about the show once again returning.

"I was so happy. I was so excited that we're coming back, because this is the only series that I know how to be on. And so for me, I was ecstatic that we got a sixth season," Jeong said.

"It was like we had finally died as a show, but we are a phoenix, so we have experienced the resurrection now. I think I've said this before. It sort of felt like we were an online show for a while, so it's kind of good that we're now actually online. Feels right," Jacobs continued.
