Counting On News: Joy-Anna and Austin Break Tradition

"Counting On" stars Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth broke tradition, and saw each other at the altar before their wedding ceremony started.

Joy-Anna and Austin are non-believers of what is probably the most practiced wedding tradition to this day, the groom not seeing the bride prior to the ceremony. The moment they shared just before becoming husband and wife proves that their love trumps such a superstition.

"Babe, are you going to turn around and look at me," the bride asks her groom when he has his back turned towards her. "I don't know, can I," he replied, as she hastily walks down the aisle towards her groom.

Austin flashed a wide grin as he turns around, seeing his bride in her wedding gown. They exchange "I love you" and they even hold hands, but as expected from the Duggar children, their first kiss is reserved for the actual wedding.

The couple tied the knot in May in front of a massive crowd, composed of family and friends. They wed at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas.

Joy-Anna is currently carrying their first together. The couple made the announcement in August. Since then, rumors about a shotgun wedding surfaced, suggesting this Duggar was already expecting before they wed.

The couple has yet to address the rumors, but their friend, who manages the family blog, revealed when she is due.

As previously reported, Joy-Anna is expected to give birth around early March, that is, according to the family's close friend.

Experts who have weighed in on the issue, however, that the teen's pregnancy is farther along than what they claim.

The Forsyths have not revealed the baby's gender.

This Monday on "Counting On," viewers will witness the couple's union through a two-hour wedding special.

"Counting On" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
