Country music star and "Celebrity Apprentice" finalist Trace Adkins lost his Brentwood, Tenn., home to a devastating fire Saturday afternoon, but no injuries were reported.

“The home Trace Adkins shares with his family has been lost in a fire that began early Saturday evening. Thankfully, Mr. Adkins, his wife Rhonda and their three daughters are unharmed,” said a statement on the singer’s website Sunday.

“The blaze spread rapidly but was quickly contained and did not spread to any other homes.”

The singer’s wife, Rhonda, was on her way home from Atlanta and was minutes away from the family residence when her neighbor called to say, “Your house is on fire,” the Tennessean reported.

The couple’s two children were in the house at the time the fire started but were able to escape unharmed. Houseguests watching the children and the family dog were also able to safely make it out of the fire.

"I'm just numb," Rhonda Adkins told The Tennessean. "I'm sad because we lost irreplaceable things like all Trace's awards and our family photos. [But] you can replace things, not people. I'm just glad that my children are safe."

Trace Adkins was en route to Alaska to perform when his house caught on fire, according to the statement on his website. He learned of the tragedy upon landing and immediately took a return flight home.

The entire Brentwood Fire Department was called to help contain the blaze, which officials said started from the garage. The cause of the fire has not been determined.

“Trace wishes to express his gratitude for the immediate response of the Brentwood Fire Department and is humbled by the outpouring of concern from friends and fans,” read the singer’s statement.

In 2008, Adkins collaborated with Christian actor and author Stephen Baldwin for a music video on his single “Muddy Water.” Baldwin, who met Adkins as a contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” appears in the video as a man who is baptized in the muddy water.

Adkins is scheduled to play the CMA Music Festival next Saturday.
