Courtney Stodden's YouTube Series Counts Down to 18th Birthday

"Teen Bride" Courtney Stodden, who is known for marrying 51-year-old Doug Hutchison when she was only 16, is turning 18. In celebration, Stodden has created a series of YouTube videos entitled "Courtney's Countdown."

The first video, entitled "My Foot Hurts," features Stodden in a roughly five-minute clip complaining about her foot hurting. Shots include her traipsing around the house in extremely high, Lucite heels while wearing very skimpy outfits.

"Episode 1 in the continuous YouTube series of Courtney's Countdown to her 18th birthday," the video's description reads. "Watch her as she deals with a sprained foot injury. 135 days and counting…"

Throughout the film Stodden calls her mother, complaining of her foot injury, and talks to her husband, Doug, about possible causes of the pain.

Ultimately, Stodden visits the doctor and finds out that she has sprained her left foot, and traces the accident back to a recent photo shoot where she fell while jumping in high heels.

""It's not because of my shoes," Stodden exclaims to Hutchison, referring to the doctor's diagnosis. "What do you think of that?"

"I think I love you," he replied, as they awkwardly hug and kiss.

"I love you, too," Stodden returns, adding "and I love my high shoes!" as the short video ends.

Many are arguing that this video is Stodden's attempt to initiate a reality series of her and Hutchison's lives, as the YouTube video takes on a realistically gritty, voyeuristic feel. The video appears to have been filmed with a home recording device.

Stodden's first installment in the series has already received nearly 90,000 views since it was uploaded on Stodden's account on April 16.

Stodden's husband, Hutchison, is an American actor best known for his roles in "The Green Mile" and "The X-Files." Stodden gained fame in May 2011 when she married Hutchison at age 16 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Although one must be 18 years of age to be married in the state of Nevada, Stodden's mother signed permission for her young daughter to be married.
