President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney are back in full swing with their campaigns after Hurricane Sandy. They'll hit several key states as they try and shore up support with the election around the corner.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, is suggesting this upcoming American election could be America's last call before the return of Christ. He asked voters to pray for guidance. Graham said that he and his father –-- Billy Graham -- have taken a strong stand in the past few months to support candidates who embrace biblical values because they believe this is one of the most important elections in our lifetime. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has faced some criticism over getting involved in politics.

A new report by amnesty international says Nigeria's government should do more to protect its people from the Islamist militant group Boko Haram. Boko Haram has waged a terrorist campaign in Nigeria for years. It's blamed for killing hundreds in frequent attacks on churches and on schools.

An Iranian Assembly of God pastor along with three ministers have each been sentenced to a year in jail for preaching Christianity. They were arrested in a Church raid during a Christmas service last December for: "Converting to Christianity, inviting Muslims to convert, as well as propagating against the Islamic regime through promoting evangelical Christianity".Security authorities reportedly covered their faces during the raid and even arrested terrified Sunday school children.

Jerry Sandusky has been moved to a maximum security prison in southwest Pennsylvania.
He is in protective custody, alone in a cell, partly because of his notoriety. He'll have an escort whenever he leaves the cell, and that won't be much. He will be allowed one hour of exercise five days a week. Sandusky maintains his innocence in the child sex abuse trial. His attorneys are appealing the case.

Meanwhile….Former Penn State President Graham Spanier faces charges of covering up child abuse by Sandusky. Among the charges: perjury, obstruction, endangering children's welfare and failing to report abuse. Gary Shultz, former senior Vice President for Finance and Business and Timothy Curley, former Director of Athletics have also been charged; both with criminal conspiracy , obstruction of justice and endangering the welfare of a child.
