'Criminal Minds' Season 10 Finale Spoilers: BAU Hunts Meg and Her Friend's Abductor

Last week's penultimate episode of the hit police-procedural TV drama series "Criminal Minds" Season 10 saw Meg (recurring cast Hailey Sole) and her best friend getting thrown into a van.

Meg, as found out, has lied to Kate (Jennifer Love Hewitt) about their meet-up with "Bobby." The latter turns out to be Meg's online stalker. With the help of "Bobby's mom," the two were drugged and kept in a secret location.

This week's finale episode titled "The Hunt" will put the pressure on the Behavioral Analysis Unit as they follow the trail of the suspect. All the while, Kate is dealing with her pregnancy.

TV Guide quoted executive producer Erica Messer teasing about the episode as one "crazy freight train of a finale."

Speaking further about the season ender, the showrunner revealed that the unsub who has long been doing some human trafficking activities will soon be confronted by the FBI team.

The story, according to her, will end with "unfortunate consequences" for the expecting operative which will also further put her "in a difficult situation" that may affect her decision towards her family and work.

For those wondering what's next for the TV show after this week's season finale, a report from Christian Today meanwhile tells some bad signs of its renewal.

"Up until now, no news or announcements regarding its renewal have surfaced," the site wrote.

The site is quick to speculate that CBS could still be discussing what to do with the BAU drama or, in a worst case scenario, the network has already decided to put an end on the long-running series.

It remains to be seen if the show which stars Joe Mantegna (as David Rossi), Thomas Gibson (as Aaron Hotchner), and Shemar Moore (as Derek Morgan) will have another season to showcase.

For the meantime, "Criminal Minds" season finale will air this Wednesday, May 6, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
