'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 13 Spoilers: BAU Investigates Truck Stop Killings

Murder, action and intrigue will be the highlight in this week's airing of CBS' hit police procedural drama TV series "Criminal Minds." The show, which is already down 13 episodes on its current 11th season, will feature the operatives of FBI's criminal profiling arm, the Behavioral Analysis Unit, take on a case involving the deaths of people at certain truck stops.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "The Bond," the BAU will be hitting the road to find clues that could help them solve a case which involves numerous killings that occur at truck stop restrooms found along the Southern highways. It is the team's goal to pinpoint the UnSub's motives that drove him or her to commit such dreaded acts.

The promo video for the segment, however, dropped some chilling details hinting that there's something much deeper than what meets the eye. The clip featured Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) saying that the UnSub is killing victims off a list.

It is also clear from the trailer that the perpetrator is not operating on his own but also under the influence of a very unlikely person, his mother. It appears that the mother and son duo are off in the streets, dragging people, putting them in car luggage compartments and killing them in the most heinous way. Or the mother may not entirely be involved in the acts but it seems like she has no problem with what her son is doing.

"Mother will love and accept you no matter what," a grey-haired woman can be heard saying in the video. Near the end of the video, the woman can be seen consoling the criminal as she lays his head on her shoulders.

Aside from the "Psycho" Norman Bates-kind of case this week, fans of the series should also be on the lookout for Aubrey Plaza's Cat Adams.

The "Parks and Rec" star recently spoke with TVLine, telling them that there's still some unfinished business between her character and Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler).

"For me, it was a love story," Plaza teased. "And I don't think it's over. I think you're going to see Spencer visiting me in jail, Hannibal Lecter style."

"Criminal Minds" Season 11 Episode 13 airs this Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
