'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 15 News: Paget Brewster Features in One Episode this Season

Paget Brewster fans will be happy to know that she will be back on "Criminal Minds."

Brewster, who played Agent Emily Prentiss, is returning to the show for an episode this season, according to TV Guide. The website said that Agent Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the rest of the BAU team will be asked by Prentiss, who now works for the Interpol, for help. Prentiss believes that the unsub she's been tracking at the Interpol will now make his move in the United States, which is why the BAU team has been called for help.

Showrunner Erica Messer said that Brewster is always welcome to come back to the show, but the actress is busy with her other commitments, which is why her guesting appearance is far in between. "It's always about scheduling. She's busy, as she should be, she's got a new show, and it also has to make sense story-wise," Messer said. "We don't want to dip into that well too often. When she comes back, it has to be special and make sense. But she's family and is always welcome," she added.

Since Prentiss left the BAU in Quantico for a job at the Interpol in London, her upcoming appearance will only be the second time she's back on "Criminal Minds." The last time that fans saw her was when the show aired its 200th episode two years ago, and fans are looking forward to see her again in the CBS crime drama.

Meanwhile, Spoilers Guide posted the synopsis of the next episode, which is titled "A Badge and a Gun," and the summary reads, "The BAU searches Los Angeles after the team discovers security footage that shows an UnSub being invited into victims' homes." Guest stars this episode include Marisol Nichols as Agent Natalie Colfax and Carmine Giovinazzo as Andrew Meeks.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 will take a break this week to give way to the 2-hour premiere of "Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty," but the show will be back for episode 15 next Wednesday, Feb. 24, on CBS.
