"Criminal Minds" executive producer Erica Messer's recently talked about Reid's "romantic future on the show," which lends credence to the possibility of Season 11.

"It's been two years. Maeve is something that will never go away in his heart. We want him to smile again and we think everybody else does too. The fact that this quirky agent who speaks Russian is somebody he'd like to have coffee with -- good on him," Messer said while referring to Agent Dorian Loker, played by Emily Churchill. "That's a great thing."

While addressing about Reid's romantic story line, she let it slip that she is looking forward to next season.

"But we will probably discuss it and figure it out at some point next season," she told TV Guide.

However, it remains to be seen if the network will keep the drama afloat.

The current season of "Criminal Minds" is slated to air its brand new episode titled "Mr. Scratch" this Wednesday, April 22 on CBS.
