Dallas Stars vs Boston Bruins takes place on Tuesday night as the NHL 2013 season continues. Today's game comes from TD Garden in Massachusetts and should be an intriguing match up between two teams with big ambitions this season. The game will start at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Bruins will be boosted by the likely return of Loui Eriksson for tonight's game against the Stars. The Bruins' forward is touted as being available for tonight's match up, which just so happens to be against his former team.
Eriksson of course picked up a concussion after being elbowed by John Scott of the Buffalo Sabres earlier this season. That knock resulted in him missing two weeks, and also resulted in a stiff punishment being handed out for Scott, who was suspended for seven games.
Eriksson has told Comcast SportsNet New England, "The testing all came out pretty good. I don't think I'll be thinking much about it if I play tonight. Obviously I'm going to do the things I'm good at, and not think about the last game I played. I'm just happy that I'm feeling good now, and that I had a good recovery."
The Bruins fans will be hyped of Eriksson does make an appearance tonight; he was acquired in July in a big trade, which also involved forward Tyler Seguin.
Tonight's match up could mark the first time that Eriksson faces his former team and that should add a bit of extra emotion to events today.
