'Dancing With the Stars' 2014 ABC Season 19 Cast News: Former Pro Favorites Making Comeback?

Season 19 of ABC hit show "Dancing With the Stars" is set to premiere on Sept. 15 and will feature a fresh batch of celebrities. But a number of former pro favorites will also be making a comeback, and that is sure to delight fans and ensure another successful season for the show.

Entertainment correspondent Kristyn Burtt was heard on Aug. 4 talking about the roster of pros in the upcoming season.

According to Burtt, Rob Wade, who recently succeeded with Conrad Green after the former departed to join the latest Fox series "Utopia," recently met with the coaches over the summer.

As well as show regulars such as Val Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff, and Cheryl Burke, the new producer also chatted with other pros who are still in contract with ABC but haven't been part of the last season or two.

That has led Burtt to speculate that fans of the hit reality dance competition might as well expect the return of some of the absentee show stars in the forthcoming "DWTS" season.

No names were mentioned in the short clip, but that hasn't stopped subsequent speculation, and names have come up like "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Lindsay Arnold, Arnold's fellow troupe member Sasha Farber, and Gleb Savenchko, whose last performance was with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump.

Other pro dancers that "may or may not be possible cast additions" like Chelsie Hightower, Lacey Schwimmer, Anna Trebunskaya, Louis Van Amstel and Edtya have also been mentioned.

The full official list for the cast for Season 19's "Dancing with the Stars" will be revealed on Sept. 4, 2014.
