'Dancing With the Stars' Elimination: Nancy Grace, Tristan MacManus Voted Off

Nancy Grace had a good run on season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars” but was booted off on Tuesday’s episode.

The celebrity prosecutor and her pro dancing partner Tristan MacManus had remained bottom scorers throughout the season – and Monday night’s performance proved no different.

The dancing duo earned the night’s lowest score of 44 points after their waltz as well as their instant jive, and was sent home after eight weeks on the show.

“I am so proud, but really I cannot take the credit,” said Grace after the elimination while speaking to ‘DWTS’ hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet. “It’s been all Tristan, from the get-go.”

Grace and her partner often did not get along, and were dubbed “The Bickertons” on Monday’s episode by “DWTS” Judge Len Goodman. The 52-year-old lawyer had improved her dancing skills while appearing on the show – despite her frustrations, but alas bid her cast mates farewell.

Following Tuesday’s show, Grace posted on her Twitter account: “We love you. We thank you. #DWTS.”

In contrast to Grace’s performance scores, actor J.R. Martinez earned two consecutive perfect scores on Monday’s “DWTS.” He and partner Karina Smirnoff received triple 10’s from the judges for their waltz, and then another score perfect score of 30 for their instant jive, placing them at the top of the scoreboard with 60 points.

The couple is a strong contender for Season 13’s mirror ball trophy.

Also slated to win is normally high-scoring Ricki Lake and pro dancing partner Derek Hough. The duo earned 28 points for the waltz and then 24 points for their instant jive on week 8’s Performance Show, leaving them with a total of 52 points for the night.

The four remaining couples on “DWTS” will return to the dance floor Monday on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
