'Dancing With The Stars' Season 19 News: Lolo Jones Voted Off on First Week of the Show

"Dancing With The Stars" Season 19 just had its first result and elimination week, and the first person voted off was Olympian Lolo Jones.

Jones' cha-cha featured several missteps, and she blamed the trouble on a missed cue that she said threw off her performance.

In an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America," Jones, together with her pro dancing partner, Keo Motsepe, talked about what happened during the performance night.

"We had no clue what was going on. I didn't have the cues everyone saw on TV," began Jones. "I was waiting for three text message cues, and he [Motsepe] was trying to train me saying, 'Things could happen; you may not have the cue,' but I felt so rushed. You already have so much anxiety and it killed me."

Jones was visibly emotional as she spoke about what happened after her performance.

"I finished the dance and that was very tough for me to do," she said. "I was having a hard time breathing backstage and trying not to cry. I don't even remember anybody dancing that night, and I really regret that. I wish I could just smile."

The Olympian also shared that she felt frustrated and felt as if she has let her partner down. Motsepe is one of the new dance pros of "Dancing With The Stars."

"A lot of people didn't understand my frustration, but I feel like I let Keo down. He came all the way from South Africa, and I killed our dance," she said.

However, Jones was very gracious, and right after she and Motsepe were eliminated, she admitted her mistakes and said that sending Betsey Johnson home, who had a prop malfunction during her live performance, would not have been fair. Johnson joins Jones in the bottom ranking, along with Lea Thompson and Michael Waltrip.

In addition to Jones, Thompson, and Waltrip, contestants who will return to compete next week are Alfonso Ribeiro, Antonio Sabato Jr., Randy Couture, Jonathan Bennett, Janel Parrish, Sadie Robertson, Bethany Mota, Tavis Smiley, and Tommy Chong.

Watch "Dancing With the Stars" Season 19 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
