Dating Website Offers $1M to Women Who Can Prove Romance With Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow, 24-year-old Christian New York Jets quarterback, is the focus of a $1 million offer that will be rewarded to any woman who can prove she has been romantically involved with the virgin NFL star.

The dating website Ashley Madison, which describes itself as "the world's leading married dating service for discreet encounters," is behind the promise of monetary gain for any woman who can prove that Tebow is no longer waiting for marriage to experience sexual intimacy.

In a press statement, the website suggests that Tebow, who has often been criticized because of his outspokenness about his faith, has been using his high-profile status to solicit women.

"Tebow has been using his infamy from this year's football season to get some ladies in the sack," the press release states.

Noel Biderman, founder of AshleyMadison.com, said he wanted to test Tebow's values and does not believe the athlete could maintain his virginity in New York City.

"As a former sports attorney I have seen with my own eyes the night in and night out temptations that are placed in front of professional athletes. Couple that with having to play on the hottest stage in sports and his limited talents, and I thought: 'Why not challenge his personal notions,'" Biderman told Metro New York.

The founder of the dating website said Tebow's ideals are not in line with societal values.

"Which to me are not aligned with where we are currently within our own society," Biderman said. Ashley Madison is marketed toward those who are already married or in a committed relationship seeking to cheat on their mate.

Tebow first publicly admitted that he was a virgin during an SEC Media Day press conference three years ago, when a reporter asked the then-21-year-old college football player if he was saving himself for marriage.

"Yes, I am," Tebow answered. "I think you're stunned right now. You can't even ask a question. … I was ready for that question, but I don't think y'all were."

However, Biderman said Tebow's alleged love for the media spotlight may just make him change his tune.

"When you see his affinity for media coverage, whether that is hanging out with Hollywood celebs or posing for paparazzi, I think Tim is going to do anything to keep his fame alive," Biderman said.

The website will accept photographs, video, DNA or a sworn affidavit from the woman's mother who can prove a romantic involvement with Tebow in order to qualify for $1 million. However, Tebow is used to hearing outlandish stories linking him and other people.

"I'm definitely single and having a good time," Tebow told E! News during the Tebow Foundation Charity Celebrity Golf Classic in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., last week. "It's amazing, I can meet someone for 10 minutes at an event, and the next thing you know, you're dating that person, you've been with them for two years and you're about to have four kids with them. It's amazing how rumors can spread."
