'Days of Our Lives' Cast News, Spoilers: Christmas Takes Over Salem City, Update on Hope, Aiden, Paul, and More

NBC's hit daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" is now set to air exciting new episodes for this week of Dec. 22-26 and spoiler reports suggest fans shouldn't miss one bit of it.

Viewers will find their favorite DOOL characters in the first day of the week preparing for Christmas celebration. SoapSheKnows.com wrote that the festivities will begin at the University Hospital. Also, the Horton family will gather round to decorate their Christmas tree together. During this time, Eric will introduce Serena to the rest of the family.

As for Will, Rage and Sonny, reports indicated that they will be preparing a surprise for Gabi. SSK also said that they will be bringing Ariana along for their "long-overdue" visit.

As for Marlena, her holidays will be filled with gladness as John is now homeward bound. Victor, on the other hand, will receive a "heartfelt gift."

Fans will also find John and Brady getting along together, perhaps for the sake of the festivity, as the two will open up to each other in a jovial conversation.

But not all will be happy during the holidays. Soap Central reported that sparks will begin to fly between Brady and Melanie. As always, the green-eyed Theresa will take over Melanie from Brady.

Doug and Julie will also be arriving to Salem for the holidays, too. Doug, however, will confront Hope regarding her relationship with Aiden.

Meanwhile, the situation is getting more intense for Hope and Aiden as the two are reported to share "an intimate moment under the mistletoe."

Adrienne's spirit will dampen as she finds out that Justin isn't coming home for Christmas. Lucky for her, she got a friend to turn into.

For the DiMeras, Soap Central indicated that Chad will mean to celebrate the season to the fullest. Paige will prepare a "major present" for JJ. However, she too will receive a "major shocker" that will push her to make a "drastic decision" on her life.
