'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers for the Week: Is Will Alive?

On this Wednesday's episode of NBC's long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives," the wedding that was previously interrupted with Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson) untimely announcement will ensue.

Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn) along with Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) were hoping to exchange vows in peace. But Ben could not just give them that, as he saw the gathering as an opportune time to announce that Will (Changler Massey), Sonny's former husband whom he killed, was in fact alive.

Will is going to be carted off to prison and the ceremony should continue. It has been a long and arduous road for Chad and Abigail to reach this point of their relationship. Their first attempt to wed nearly failed because of Abigail's trauma from Ben's attacks. It was followed by another attempt at renewing their vows which utterly failed because of Chad's feeling for Gabi (Camila Banus). It is high time this couple reached their happily ever after.

As for Sonny and Chad, the couple decides to call off their exchanging of vows until they learn the truth. Until they can confirm that Will is indeed dead, the wedding is off.

It will not take long for Will's father to catch up on the news about his son's possible survival. Since Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) decided to ditch his former in-law's wedding, he missed out when Ben dropped the bomb about Will being alive. But he will be brought up to speed on this Thursday's episode, which can be assumed as one big emotional rollercoaster.

Lucas took a downward spiral when he learned of his son's death. He took comfort in alcohol and he turned away from Sonny who gradually learned to move on and find new happiness.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1:00 p.m. on NBC.
