Demi Lovato posted photos of herself on crutches after an accident this weekend. She has been living in a sober living house in Los Angeles, which is where the fall took place.
"Never, ever, ever, EVER let your roommate clean your hardwood floors with Pledge... Fibula schmibula," Lovato tweeted, along with a photo of herself in a cast. Apparently the 20-year-old singer took a fall and wound up breaking her right leg.
"This Sucks," she tweeted some time later.
Lovato has reportedly been staying at a sober living facility in Los Angeles for over one year. She originally went to rehab for bulimia, anorexia and cutting herself in 2010, People magazine reported. Lovato has remained committed to a healthy lifestyle and chose to move into the sober facility rather than into her own home.
"Two years ago, I watched the ball drop on TV in rehab and cried my eyes out," Lovato tweeted on New Year's Eve. "Tonight I'm on the beach with my closest, most loyal friends sipping coffee and sharing how beautiful life is and how far we've come."
"Recovery is a beautiful thing friends… Life is good. God is great!" Lovato added.
"She's very smart," a source told People magazine. "She takes whatever steps she needs to make sure she stays healthy."
"I take it day by day. I'd be lying if I said there weren't days where I just want to stay in bed all day because I'm ashamed of my body," she told the magazine in an interview. "It's a struggle I'll probably have to deal with for the rest of my life. But I have so much life to live; I don't want to waste it."
During her stay in rehab, Lovato was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She, along with two other young stars recently revealed their diagnoses. Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry, both from MTV's "Teen Mom 2" have been diagnosed with the mental illness.
