"Amazing when people put themselves into their art completely," tweeted musician Pete Wentz, regarding her first single.

"The new song Skyscraper by @ddlovato is pure perfection," tweeted singer Katy Perry.

"Her voice is one of the BEST undiscovered beauties. Can't wait for the full record,” wrote celebrity Kelly Clarkson when after purchasing the song on iTunes. She described it as "cool" and Lovato's voice as "rad."

"Demi Lovato is one of the reasons I smile everyday. Thank you for keeping me smile and stay strong," tweeted one fan.

Another fan tweeted: "Demi Lovato was always my role model, and she always will be.♥"

Demi Lovato's single "Skyscraper" is also considered an encouragement to people.

Selena Gomez, the artist’s best friend, even tweeted: "SO, SO proud of Demi Lovato, Skyscraper. Incredible, beautiful and so inspiring."

Lovato has made many television performances since the release of the album, including on “Dancing with the Stars,” “Do Something Awards,” “America’s Got Talent,” “ALMA Awards,” and most recently the “Latin Grammy Awards.”

She was received as not just a past Disney star, but as a young adult artist.

Lovato will end her 10-city tour this week for promotions of her album. Upon reflection, the 19-year-old singer had much to say about her meltdown last year.

She was reported to be battling with a recent breakup, pressure from the media, an eating disorder, and self-mutilation for approximately six years.

When Lovato allegedly punched a backup singer from her "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" tour, friends and family knew it was time to get the singer help. She dropped out of the Disney tour and spent time in rehab to work on private issues.

"I was just lying to everyone. My managers, the people I was working with. I was lying about eating, and just being happy," said Lovato on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.”

"It was affecting every area of my life. I was being cranky; I was irritable, not pleasant really to work with. I became a little brat on set, and I just had so much growing up to do," she continued.

"I just had so much going on in my head. It all just boiled up and I ended up doing things that I regret to this day...There is a lot of pressure these days. I feel like I live in a city where no woman eats,” Lovato added.

Lovato has certainly come a long way, and after spending 3 months in rehab, she can proudly proclaim her healing process.

“Thinking about how far I have come in a year makes me so thankful. I could not have done this without God and the amazing support from my family,” she said.

“Honestly, I am thankful for my life path, including the highs and the lows, because it has caused my true self to shine through. Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life," she continued. "I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles. It also helped me open up about my issues and share them with others. Knowing that my family, friends and fans accept me for whom I am is the greatest feeling ever!”

Many rehab visits end in further tragedy and a life long journey to recovery for most celebrities. However, Lovato is thankful to have the support of her family as she continues her path.

“I am so thankful that I am healthy and happy this year. I no longer take things for granted, like my family, friends, fans and career. Each day is special to me and I take each day one day at a time. Sometimes people get busy and forget to enjoy the moment – but I know I will not do that this holiday season. I have worked very hard to get to the place I am today and I am going to enjoy every minute of it,” Lovato said.

Lovato’s new single “Give Your Heart a Break,” will release soon, but fans can check out the tune in the video below.

"I am still on a personal journey dealing with my own issues each and every day,” said Lovato during an interview with Elle Magazine. “But the best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help."
