Destiny White PlayStation 4 Bundle to Be Released By Bungie

Sony's PlayStation line had always initially come in black with the exception of the first PlayStation but also offered different colors like red and blue starting with the PlayStation 3. With the upcoming release of Bungie's sci-fi shooter "Destiny," Sony is planning to bundle it together with a white colored PlayStation 4.

When "Destiny" is released on Sept. 9, it will be coming bundled with a white PlayStation 4 and is currently only exclusive in the EU.

Players can still opt to purchase the white PlayStation 4 without the "Destiny" game bundled with it. The standalone white console will be released later this year, however, but it is still uncertain whether it will be coming in other countries.

"In Europe, we're going to launch the bundle with Destiny on September 9th, but after that, later this year, we're going to release the white standalone PS4 as well in Europe," said Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Computer Entertainment's Worldwide Studios.

The bundle was first announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year and is priced a $450. The bundle will include a copy of "Destiny," a 500GB "glacier white" PlayStation 4, a matching "glacier white" DualShock 4 controller, and a month-long subscription to the Playstation Network.

IGN U.K. is also currently offering a promo for a Limited Edition "Destiny" game bundled with the white Playstation 4. The promo will run up until the release of the game and the rules for joining the raffle can be seen on on their website.

The Limited Edition "Destiny" will contain a limited edition Steelbook Case with the game disc, a Guardian Folio, an Arms and Armament Field Guide, Postcards from the Golden Age, an Antique Star Chart, and a Destiny Expansion Pass containing Collector's Edition Digital Content.
