Detroit Tigers vs Minnesota Twins Live Stream: Watch MLB 2015 Opening Day Baseball Online

The Detroit Tigers will play the Minnesota Twins on Monday for MLB 2015 Opening Day. Today's game takes place from Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan and has a start time of 1.08 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the FSN network or online through live stream (details below).

Today's game is historic in a way, as it will mark the first time in eight years that the Tigers will be sending anyone except Justin Verlander to the mound for Opening Day. David Price is the man who has big shoes to fill for today's game as the Tigers look to get their season off to the perfect start in search of a fifth straight American League Central title this season.

Price has experience of the pressures of Opening Day though, having taken to the mound for the start of the season four previous times. However, today's will be a first for the Tigers.

Tigers' manager Brad Ausmus said, "It's a tough decision when you have two guys like that. I think I could have gone either way. I could have gone Verlander-Price, but I decided to go Price-Verlander."

Another reason today will feel very different - this time from the Twins' perspective - is that this will be the first time since 2001 that Minnesota will start a season without Ron Gardenhire steering the ship.

That means today will be the managerial debut for Paul Molitor, who has said ahead of the game: "I'm coming here to win. I think it's very important to lay that out there right from the start. Things can change very dramatically at this level, very quickly."

This season's American League Central should be one of the most competitive in the MLB, and today's game makes for a mouth-watering encounter to give a preview of the rivalries likely to feature in the division this year.
