Set two years after the events of 2011's "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," "Mankind Divided was initially announced in April, but made its official debut during the E3 2015.

Set in Czech Republic capital of Prague in the year 2029, the game features the return of protagonist Adam Jensen and emerges during the time of an electronically augmented human race, with Jensen going on a mission to bring down the powerful Illuminati puppeteers who control the technologically augmented population.

Developer Eidos Montreal has brought in the new Tesla EMP device used to take aim at as many as four targets and take them down simultaneously. The weapon is also used to disable electronic devices, as well as people.

Newly introduced EMP bullets are compatible with various weapons to disable targets no-lethally. However, normal and explosive bullets also exist in Adam Jensen's world for more effective and permanent attacks.

Jensen's new quick transport, the Icarus Dash, gives him the ability to travel to a new area instantly, and can be used as both a mobility device and an offensive weapon to knock opponents down.

With his Nano Blade skill, Jensen can pin enemies to walls and other surfaces, as well as detonate an area with explosives by shooting at his targets from a distance. He will also be wielding the Titan Shield to help him temporarily absorb damages, particularly during firefights.

Apart from a novel hacking feature to open doors and unlock certain areas remotely, the game also sees the return of "Deus Ex: Human Revolution'" popular hacking mini-game.

Fans of the "Deus Ex" series can expect the release of "Mankind Divided" during the first half of 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
