'Devious Maids' Season 4 Cast News: Carlos Ponce Joins Team of Schemers

With preparations going on for season 4 of "Devious Maids," it is expected that new faces will join the team. One of the newest additions is described as an "expert manipulator."

According to TV Line, Carlos Ponce will play the role of Ben, "a handsome and slick manager of a major movie star." As everyone who saw "Cristela" knows that Ponce is seriously an amazing actor, which is why he was chosen to play a "charming" and "mysterious" character who will possibly go as far as finding love with one of the maids.

It would be interesting to find out how he will meet the dreamers of Beverly Hills, especially since fans are expecting that he will use his manipulating skills to possibly overcome a maid. As of the moment, it is unclear how his storyline will affect the maids, but in any way, he will be attached to them since his characteristics definitely make a good match for the schemers.

There's a lot to look forward to in season 4 as production goes "desperate" with the coming of Eva Longoria. The "Desperate Housewives" star is set to make a one-time appearance, and while there are no details about her role, it is expected that she will make the plot more exciting.

James Denton is also up for season 4 as Peter. There are not too many details about Peter as well but he is said to fall in love in the blink of an eye in the upcoming season. As expected, fans are putting him up for Carmen (Roselyn Sánchez). The rumor is definitely possible since a movie studio head can definitely feel right at home with a house maid.

Other stars in line for season 4 are Sol Rodriguez, who will play the role of Daniela, who is expected to raise chaos among the maids, then there's Nathan Owens, who will return to the show as a series regular.

"Devious Maids" season 4 is scheduled for release sometime in 2016.
