'Diablo 3: Reaper Of Souls' Release Date: Ultimate Evil Edition Out to Buy Now

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls was an expansion for Blizzard's Diablo 3 title and was released for the PC March 25 this year. A console port for the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One was released August 19 and is titled Ultimate Evil Edition.

Pre-orders were put up a few months before the release and players who pre-ordered the game will get two exclusive collections of helm and weapon transmogrification recipes – the Arma Mortis and Arma Haereticorum, a scroll that summons a Spectral Hound minion Liber Canis Mortui, and three additional character slots.

The console port of the game does not differ much from the PC version of the game in terms of plot or gameplay. Instead, the console version of Reaper of Souls enables up to four players to play at the same time in one game, in one screen.

This is different from the multiplayer mode of the PC version of RoS. In the PC version, players play over the Internet in their respective personal computers. In the console version, the four players are playing in a single console. Simply put, its single player but with four players.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls continues from the plot of the first Diablo 3 title where the nephalem (the player's character) has defeated Diablo and banished his soul in the Black Soulstone. Tyrael seeks to hide the stone from the mortals and the angels, choosing to hide it in the tomb of Rakkis, the first King of Westmarch.

With the help of six Horadrim, they successfully set the stone in its place but just as they do, Malthael the Angel of Death and former Archangel of Wisdom enters the chamber and kills all but one Hordrim all the while incapacitating Tyrael. Malthael then grabs the soulstone and heads off to carry out his plan to end the Eternal Conflict.

The players must now foil Malthael's plan and stop him from eliminating mankind.
