Dina Eastwood Divorce From Clint Official, Filed Papers on Monday

Dina Eastwood is moving forward with her divorce from Clint Eastwood following the announcement of their separation last month.

Married since 1996, the couple previously lived together in Carmel, California. However, in August, Dina confirmed that she and the Hollywood icon had been living apart for months before she officially filed for a separation in Sept.

Today, Dina moved legally forward. She filed divorce papers in Monterey County Superior Court on Monday, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to People.com.

Furthermore, the 48-year-old former E! reality star is seeking custody of she and Eastwood's 16-year-old daughter Morgan, along with spousal support and attorney fees to be paid by the 83-year-old actor.

While the couple has not said what led to the formal separation and the divorce, rumors have suggested that Clint was cheating. The legendary actor was spotted with an unknown blonde at Los Angeles Airport days after news of his separation broke, and today, sources say that Erica Fisher is living in the actor's L.A. area home.

Despite the end of her 17-year marriage to Eastwood, Dina remains positive about him.

"I don't like reading negative things about Clint," she posted to Twitter in early Sept., amongst reports of their split. "He is a wonderful, good-natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."

Moreover, possibly referring to her legal separation, Dina posted to Twitter again on Sept. 9.

"It is always wise to base our actions out of curiosity for knowledge or quest for truth instead of response to fear or anger," she wrote.

Meanwhile, Eastwood has been "unavailable to reach" and remains mum on the split.

"Clint is shooting a picture right now," explained his manager, Leonard Hirshan, according to E! News. "He doesn't have a press agent and that's all I can tell you."
