'Divorce' Season 2 Air Date, Teaser: Sarah Jessica Parker Has A New Man
HBO sets Sarah Jessica Parker's "Divorce" for a January 2018 return as revealed in the new teaser. Her character, Frances Dufresne, will also have a new man in season 2 while she and ex-husband Robert (Thomas Haden Church) go through the grueling process of ending their marriage.
HBO released the latest teaser to "Divorce" to confirm when season 2 will be back on air. The short clip also showed a glimpse of Frances' new boyfriend in the person of actor Steven Pasquale.
Pasquale's casting was announced back in April. The actor will play Andrew who was set up by Frances' friend Nick (Tracy Letts) so she could start dating again.

Viewers might recall that Robert found out that his wife of over a decade has been cheating on him in season 1. His discovery led to their current predicament as both undergo the strains and challenges of a divorce.
HBO ordered "Divorce" for development back in 2014 from British writer and actress Sharon Horgan. The network also hired Paul Simms as the co-showrunner along with Horgan.
Parker became attached to the project as its star and executive producer. "Divorce," which premiered on the premium cable network in October 2016, marked the return of the actress to HBO since the cancellation of "Sex and the City."
"Divorce" also stars Molly Shannon (Diane), Talia Balsam (Dallas), Sterling Jerins (Lila) and Charlie Kilgore (Tom).
Meanwhile, Parker recently confirmed that the planned third "Sex and the City" movie will no longer move forward. The actress expressed disappointment over the project's failure to launch, which cited Kim Cattrall's astronomical demands as the reason. Parker, however, won't confirm if the rumors are true.
"We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story," Parker said. "It's not just disappointing that we don't get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie."
