Up to now, the details as to who Maisie Williams will play in the upcoming Season 9 of BBC's wildly-popular science-fiction drama show "Doctor Who" are still being kept under wraps. However, new interviews with cast member Peter Capaldi and showrunner Steven Moffat dropped some interesting clues.

Citing Doctor Who TV, the report from Enstarz.com quoted Moffat's statement.

Set photos published over the weeks seems to reveal that the 18-year-old English actress will don a Highwayman's clothing for the second part of the two-parter.

However, Capaldi (who plays the Twelfth Doctor incarnate) divulged that her role in episode 5 will be different.

"You'll see what she does on the show, she has to cover quite a range, she has to be quite different in different episodes, and she does it quite beautifully and subtly," Capaldi said (via Enstars).

In a yet more recent interview with Capaldi, the 57-year-old told BBC America (via Radio Times) shared his awe with having Williams on board.

"She is fantastic. She's such a gifted actress," the actor said (via Radio Times). "The reason I'm saying that with awe is because she's so young. She turned 18 while she was working with us, and she came in and she did a performance that I thought was so mature and so clever."

Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the HBO series "Game of Thrones" is slated to appear first in Season 9's episode titled "The Girl Who Died" and then on "The Woman Who Lived."

"Doctor Who" will return to BBC and BBC America on September 19 with the primer called "The Magician's Apprentice." Stay tuned for more updates.
