Dr. Howard Hendricks Presents "Chrisitianity in Blue Jeans" and "The Leader Board"

DALLAS TEXAS -- First Evangelical Church at 735 Ridge Lake Blvd. will be holding the Carter Biblical Letureship – “Christianity in Blue Jeans” led by Dr. Howard Hendricks, chairman of the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary from Jan. 25 –27. Hendricks will deliver messages during worship services Sunday at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. He will conduct lectures at the church Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The lectures are free and open to the public.

Hendricks will also deliver two lectures at Crichton College at 255 N. Highland. "Message of Mistakes" will be Monday at 10 a.m. and "Characteristics of a Transformative Leader" will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Monday's lecture will be followed by a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Hendricks has served students as an inspiring scholar for more than 52 years. He serves on the board of several large Christian corporations, including Search Ministries, Walk Thru the Bible, Ronald Blue & Co. and was a past board member and keynote speaker for Promise Keepers.

Also Hendricks and the Center for Christian Leadership are presenting The Leader Board, a one year (4 session) leadership development experience for marketplace leaders. Following is the 2004 schedule:
