DWTS Elimination: David Arquette Eliminated

Halloween Week on season 13 of Dancing with the Stars has resulted in David Arquette being eliminated following a special performance by Justin Bieber.

Arquette and his dancing partner Kym Johnson received consistent low scores and have bid the DWTS cast farewell.

Bieber took the stage with Boys II Men for perform songs in celebration of his new Christmas album in stores today.

Monday night’s stage was decked out in frightfully elaborate décor including ghosts and witches, and the judges donned scary costumes while watching the seventh round of performances.

The highest score of the night went to consistently strong performer Ricki Lake and her partner Derek Hough. The couple earned 27 out of 30 points from the judges for their Paso Doble dance moves to Beyonce’s Sweet Dreams. The former talk show host and her professional dance partner are slated to win and have dominated the leader board since the opening night of the show.

Also a strong contender, actor J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff went home with the second best score of the night with 25 points. The couple tied with reality TV star Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke. Kardashian’s entire family has been very active throughout the competition, and siblings Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe often take to Twitter reminding fans to vote and support the 23-year-old.

The poorest performance was by Nancy Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus, who earned 21 points for their jive to The Charlie Daniels Band’s Devil Went Down to Georgia.

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said of the performance: “We have our good days and we have our not-so-good days…” before trailing off.

The night also saw two group performances by the remaining contestants. Team Tango consisted of Martinez, Grace, Arquette, and their pro partners, while Team Paso included Lake, Kardashian, and Solo with their dancing partners. Team Tango earned 23; losing to Team Paso which received 26 points out of 30. The points will be added to the contestant’s individual score.
