First off is the DLC pack itself. According to the site, players will get to join the iconic Thieves Guild for the first time in the game. This will give them access to Hew's Bane, "a new zone that is available to characters of all levels and home of Abah's Landing, the Thieves Guild headquarters, located in the southern peninsula of Hammerfell."

The expansion will also include the "Maw of Lorkhaj," a 12-player mission. Aside from that, "formidable new group bosses" will be introduced on top of "new criminal activities." What is also interesting is a "new passive skill line" which will be made exclusively available to those who pledged allegiance to the Thieves Guild.

Fans should also expect a host of unique costumes, motifs and item sets which are inspired by the Guild.

Alongside the Thieves Guild pack is the base game patch which seeks to further improve the overall gameplay experience.

As detailed over at Bethesda, the patch would contain:

  • A 64-bit client for PC and Mac
  • Improvements to grouping including incentives and cross-alliance grouping outside of the Grouping Tool
  • Tons of combat and gameplay balance changes
  • Scrolling combat text (SCT)
  • Improvements and updates to Cyrodiil and its campaigns
  • Access to content from other alliances in any order you choose upon reaching Veteran Rank 1
  • Prioritization of animations during combat
  • Improved facial animations for Mac

Bethesda is yet to announce the price for the Thieves Guild DLC. According to the game's official website, it is slated to be released on March 7 for the PC and Mac, March 22 for the Xbox One, and March 23 for the PS4. The company recently released the Imperial City DLC free for those members of ESO Plus. Non-subscribers, meanwhile, has to pay $24.99 for the pack.
