Emily Blunt and John Krasinski welcomed their baby girl Sunday, and the actors quickly tweeted out their excitement about their new bundle of joy. Blunt, perhaps best known for her roles in "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Looper" has been married to the "Office" actor since 2010, and this is their first child together.

"Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!" Krasinski tweeted to thousands of retweets and virtual congratulations.

Blunt, 30 and Krasinski, 33, knew that children was in the future for the couple.

"We want to have children; I just don't know when yet," Blunt said not long after their marriage in Como, Italy. "I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families so I think it's something we want."

Then the couple announced her pregnancy in September of 2013. In December, she hosted a baby shower with various Hollywood stars, like Jennifer Aniston and Amy Adams, according to People magazine.

"Emily seems very excited about the baby and looks great," an insider told the publication. "She opened gifts of baby clothes and plush toys in front of her guests as they enjoyed cookies and chocolate. Everyone was oohing and ahhing."

During the pregnancy Blunt didn't mind being photographed, and was often seen without much makeup. The demanding schedule of a Hollywood star wasn't easy on her, though.

"Emily's so ready to have the baby!" an insider told Us Weekly late last year. "It's been difficult, with her traveling and them having to be apart. John's trying to make the pregnancy easy as possible for Emily. He's going to make a great father."
