Emily Maynard Engaged for Fourth Time

Former "Bachelor" contestant and official "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard is engaged for the fourth time. The single mom revealed the news just this week and is absolutely thrilled to be engaged and have a father for daughter Ricki.

"We're really excited!" Maynard told Us Weekly. "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me! We definitely are looking to get married sooner rather than later. No point in waiting!"

Maynard first appeared on TV as a contestant on ABC's "The Bachelor." She was ultimately selected by bachelor Brad Womack; the two were engaged but split up not long after. Maynard then became the bachelorette and had her pick of eligible suitors. During the season, she kept daughter Ricki with her but ultimately only introduced her to finalist Jef Holm, with whom she was engaged.

The three were apparently quite happy for a time, but rumors of cheating by Maynard and Holm began to surface. The couple then split and Maynard decided to focus on her family and friends while remaining single. She is the single mother to daughter Ricki, whose father, the late Ricky Hendrick, perished in an accident. Maynard has attempted to provide a relatively stable life for the young girl and has gone back to life as normal in North Carolina.

She revealed in July that she had been seeing someone.

"I have, yeah, but I've known him for a long time," Maynard to NBC affiliate WCNC at the time.

The man to capture Maynard's heart this time is management consultant Tyler Johnson, 27, who proposed on January 4 with five diamond-studded bands. He has apparently been friends with Maynard for some time and has been getting close to her and daughter Ricki, which is incredibly important to Maynard. The two have not set a wedding date yet, but according to Maynard, it could be sooner than we all expect.
