Remaining Dramatic Series nominees are shows “Dexter” and “Game of Thrones.”

ABC’s “Modern Family” is predicted to dominate the comedy category at this year’s Emmy Awards, beating out other popular series such as “Parks and Recreation” and “Glee.”

“30 Rock” actors Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin both represent the Outstanding Comedy-nominated series, earning nominations for Outstanding Actor and Actress in the genre, respectively.

Outstanding Comedy series nods also went to “The Office” and “The Big Bang Theory.”

The Emmy Awards also honor reality television series and competitions, and this year’s nominations include series “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Project Runway.”

Anticipated to win Outstanding Reality-Competition Program is “The Amazing Race,” but the show must best remaining nominees, “Dancing with the Stars,” “Top Chef,” and “American Idol.”

Executive producing the show this year is Mark Burnett, who serves as the first reality television director to do so. About the task, Burnett said it is “an honor.”

“Having been fortunate enough to receive four Emmys, I know what it feels like to receive that pat on the back from your peers,” said Burnett speaking to the Hollywood Reporter.

Burnett adds that working with Lynch is a “delight.”

Burnett has produced award ceremonies such as the MTV Movie Awards as well as the People’s Choice Awards, so the decision to produce the Emmy’s came with ease, he told the online news service.

“We’ve got a few things planned that are good fun and I think fit Fox very well,” Burnett promises viewers.

The list of Emmy Award Presenters includes Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Drew Barrymore, and Jimmy Fallon, among many more Hollywood stars.

Glee’s Jane Lynch will host the affair, which airs Sunday on Fox at 8 p.m. EST.
