'Empire' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Terrell Carter, Rumer Willis Promoted to Series Regular

"Empire" has added two more series regulars for its upcoming fourth season.

Rumer Willis and Terrell Carter are now full-fledged regular cast members, according to reports. After joining the show in season 3 as a sneaky chanteuse, Willis is slated to reprise her role as Tory, and as a full-timer. The actress-singer's character is expected to make a crossover comeback this season, and her reluctance to stay away from controversies will lead to more consequences in the new installment.

News of Willis' promotion does not come as a surprise, considering how the series concluded Tory's arc in season 3. Prior to her new series-regular status, Willis was likely feeling more at home on the "Empire" set since her mother, Demi Moore, is also on the show for a major arc.

Joining Willis as the latest series regular is Carter, whose promotion was announced earlier this week. He will reprise his role as Warren, Jamal's (Jussie Smollett) latest love interest. Although he works as an attorney, he is also an aspiring musician who wants to make it big in the entertainment scene someday.  Unbeknownst to Jamal, Warren is also a member of the Dubois family, also known as the Lyons' fiercest rival.

Season 3 saw Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) spend most of her time fighting for Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Empire. In the end, Lucious chose to be with Cookie instead of staying with his ex-girlfriend Giuliana (Nia Long). The pair decided to leave the company and just travel the world, but things only took a turn for the worse when Lucious' car exploded — leaving him in a three-month coma.

Reports note the incident will change the dynamic in the Lyon family. Cookie is expected to step up as Empire's new CEO while trying to help Lucious remember the commitment they made to each other before the explosion.

The fourth season of "Empire" premieres tonight at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
